An ongoing donation of just $5 a week ($20 a month) can help FacetoFace Ministries to:
Most importantly you help FacetoFace Ministries bring more people to Christ and his Church.
DID YOU KNOW? Ongoing donations that are committed for two or more years help stabilize the Ministry's cash flow, which helps the ministry plan and deliver it's programs. Choosing an ongoing donation also saves the ministry money in service fee charges and processing costs.
4 Quick Steps will bring the Gospel to more people.
Step 1 - To make a donation to the Ministry with a credit card
Click the "Donate Now" button at the end of these instructions. You will be redirected to the Canada Helps donation service.
CanadaHelps.org is a registered charity itself and provides this service, which allows Registered Canadian Charities to receive donations online. The service is a secure site and all of your personal information is protected. FacetoFace is charged a 3% service charge on each donation.
CanadaHelps.org also allows you to purchase donation gift cards and enables donors the ability to donate securities such as stocks, bonds and mutual funds!
Step 2 - Verify the Ministry's information - it should read:
FACE TO FACE MINISTRIES BN : 811665942RR0001
Step 3 - Choose your donation option by clicking either "One-time donation" or "Repeating donation"
Step 4 - Continue filling out the required donation information (Amount, Address, credit card info, etc.). Canada Helps will issue you a PDF e-receipt (under their charitable registration) indicating FacetoFace as the recipient of the donation. Canada Revenue Agency approves the use of e-receipts for tax purposes.
Note: Tax receipts can be carried forward as far as 5 years to be used for deduction purposes. So even if you are not yet filing an annual tax return keep these receipts for the future.
In 2011 FacetoFace Ministries began to embark on an exciting new project and enter the world of video. We have purchased equipment and software to be able to produce high quality videos. Our two initial projects are promotional videos highlighting our services to the Church and a regular video blog.
Often when we are booked to lead a Parish Mission, some parishioners have never heard of our ministry, or may have misconceptions about the weekend and thus do not attend. As a result, they miss out on a possible life changing experience. Having a quality promotional video highlighting our Parish Missions, that include testimonials of actual participants, would be an excellent means of advertising for the hosting parish. This would communicate the experience, give a taste of our weekends, and be an effective way to reach out to the communities we serve. Similar types of promotional videos are also being created for Ignite and the Bus Trips.
The second project we have begun is an ongoing video blog updated regularly on our website and YouTube. These short 2-6 minute videos challenge people to holiness by pointing to the fullness of our Catholic faith. The video blogs are designed to be a contemporary evangelistic teaching style where each video hopefully stands out in “look” and content. They are similar to a talk presented at a parish mission or retreat, but with a single nugget of Catholic truth per video. People are welcome to view the videos in the privacy of their own homes, teachers can use the clips in their classrooms, and youth groups can in-corporate them into their meetings. We believe the potential to reach a new audience is tremendous! In addition, our supporters can stay connected with us and be nourished their faith as well, right at home.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 to continue getting this innovative project off the ground. I invite you to participate in this new outreach through your donations and prayers. When using the link above, please indicate, “Video Project” in the message/instruction box. We believe this initiative can have a tremendous impact on tens of thousands of individuals. Please join us in challenging people to holiness by pointing to the fullness of the Catholic faith.
Bring Someone FacetoFace with Christ
Create a list of all the things we spend our money on without thinking. We have cell phone plans, satellite television, gym memberships, spa treatments, payments on things we've purchased like that big screen T.V. or a new electric guitar and yes even that daily trip to Tim's or Starbucks for our morning coffee. These are all wonderful things that our God wants us to have. Yet, if we stop and think about our spending, what portion of our God given wealth is spent on ourselves and things that we don't think about? The question is then, are we contributing to things that have an eternal value? Are we supporting God's work in a very real and direct way? Please consider FacetoFace Ministries as something offering eternal value to God's people and know that you are spending money that you've thought and prayed about!
Let us be your hands and feet! We all love Christ, His Church, and all that He gives us. We may even want to give sacrificially of our time and talents in service to Christ, but our family, work, education and volunteer commitments make it really difficult for us to find time to get out and actively serve. Family, work, and things like our education are very important and should not be ignored. They are all part of God's unique plan for each one of us. So what do we do? Let FacetoFace Ministries be your hands and feet. By supporting the ministry financially we take your gifts and turn them into humble service and bring someone FacetoFace with Christ!
FacetoFace is pleased to announce the newest media facet of the ministry: video blogs. The purpose of the video blogs are to stay connected to the people we have met on the road, to continue to encourage and challenge people in their faith, and to reach out to a larger audience.Read more
